HiView Family Restaurant in Villa Park

We ordered dinner here. The food and service were great. Most of all, they provided safe, curbside pickup during COVID-19.

We were out shopping and came upon this resturant by chance. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. My vegetarian omelet was cooked to perfection!!! We will definitely visit this wonderful resturant again in the future and bring others with us the next time!

The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I surely liked the atmosphere of this place. First-rate place to take my family out for dinner.

The Area is nice to walk around and the service as soon as u get in they take care of you. The food was very good. The pancakes had a delicious flavor to them. The sausages tasted very good.

Not a bad place. I can see why people like it. They offer a good variety of foods. The foods remind me of southern comfort foods; very rich and buttery. I ordered steak medium cooked and got a well done one. You can tell from the picture there is no pink at all. I let the waitress know and they offered to have it replaced, but I didn't want them to go through the trouble. Other than that, not a bad place. I prefer the Simon's in Villa Park, but they are about the same type restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to go. Whether it was just for a family dinner, special family occasion. Very family-oriented restaurant. Service is great. The food is very good. Prices are reasonable. We are never rushed we enjoy our time eating and talking.

Food is fantastic. Staff is awesome. Very good place to go and have a meal. The outside seating is awesome.

Usually very good family restaurant. The last time I went, they order wasnt right, it was cold and everyone seemed off somehow. I will take it as a fluke at this point and hope for the best next time

I've been eating Hi View more nearly 30 years - A Villa Park staple! Always AMAZING food, and friendly staff. COVID safety measures are well in place. I recommend Hi View to anyone looking for the best comfort food.

Amazing environment and super personal service. The meals were crisp and yummy. Will surely recommend this place to anyone. Affordable rates and big portions. Keep it up.

Not the greatest, wouldn't suggest getting the steak at least with the breakfast meals. My Eggs Benedict was over cooked- my eggs weren't runny :( it was like soft boiled. Very disappointing

I'm rating it in regards my two visits, they have been really good even though it was super busy the food was done quickly the waitress were friendly and everything was delicious! Prices are fair on the lower side I rated 4 starts because I had to use my imagination to see Mickey on the Mickey mouse pancakes my 6yrs couldn't see Mickey at all! We just laugh and ate the second time around, we remember the Mickey pancakes laugh again and ditch the kids menu! he had an omelette instead and he loved it.

Very impressive. I had the open faced hot roast beef sandwich. It came with real mashed potatoes (not instant), real gravy (not packaged) and it was delicious! Our waitress, Donna, went above and beyond and although she was servicing numerous tables, she never missed a beat and wasn't rushed as so many others are these days. I recommend this place

My brother brought me here for breakfast during a visit. Great spot for breakfast, with a large menu with all kinds of omelettes, skillets, and Benedicts. Yum! Great service and very reasonable prices.

I sent my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is tasty and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we pass a pleasant evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Ordered the broiled perch. The heavy pepper and paprika on the fish was terrible. Left a burning taste in the mouth. Pea soup was excellent. Peas and carrots were good. My friend was very unhappy with not only the fish, but the hard as rocks rolls and service.

The server took very good care of us & the food was delicious! The mimosa was the cherry on top!

I've been going here for at least 15 years and this place still has its timeless look. I remember when the right side was the smoker ng area and I remember going here with my grandma and great grandma who are both passed. This place still has the best cream of chicken and rice soup I've ever had, super crispy French fries, good ranch, and good sandwiches. I got the pot roast sandwich and a Boston strawberry soda and the soup which were all fantastic.

We are from the neighborhood and love to go here for breakfast. Their menu is impressive and will have something for everyone, for sure. Clean and well maintained, with friendly service, and easy parking. What else would you want. I highly recommend it for breakfast and lunch. I have never been there for dinner, so cannot comment on that.

This spot is worth visiting. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Regularly neat and with fantastic character. I highly recommend this place.

My favorite 'go to' spot for excellent diner food to the best chicken vesuvio and everything in between. Any time of day. They have attentive staff and caring owners who eat their own food right there! That tells you all you need to know. Endless coffee refills, quality ingredients. My favorite since the late '60's. Always leave full and satisfied. Love my Hi-View.

You can't beat them for their food, very friendly waitresses, now they have carryout. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed

Finally a place to sit and eat. Now just open the inside and i will be happy to go inside and eat. Time to get back to normal

So thankful there are patio seats outside. Food is good tho the wait for food was long

I've driven/been driven past this place for fifty years but had never been there. We had a great breakfast with good service. They got hubby's eggs just right. Nice decor, too. Glad we visited. Recommend.

From the moment you come to that restaurant the waiters give you a great feeling. Very friendly hosts, it is a friendly restaurant to pass time with buddies or with your date. enjoyable food, experienced chef, comfortable cost and nice service. Highly recommended.

An average family style restaurant. I ordered a combo breakfast with smoked sausage and 3 eggs. The five pieces of sausage were all burnt on one side and with a lot of oil remaining on the surface. The waitress was kind to make a change. I wish she would have said sorry, but she has not. Overall a clean and spacious place. But I don't know if I would go back again.

Wonderful good, great service... Their chicken rice soup is to die for, and their burgers are very big and extremely good. I didn't think I'd finish mine but i did because i couldn't stop eating it. Great restaurant!

We dined for breakfast and had Denver omelet and waffle with eggs , bacon. Water was offered while waiting in line. We were served quickly and food was hot. Pancake batter was different than previous. Flowers in planters were lovely.

Wow! This is my forever breakfast spot. Feels like having breakfast with family. The service is awesome and the food is phenomenal. I always order the "Greek" omelette but I switch out the Italian sausage and green peppers for gyros and spinach. It is thee best! Looking for good food and a great atmosphere and want to stay local Hi View is the spot. Prices are reasonable and they feed you like Grandma! You will love it! Now help me get this omelette on the menu. Lol 😉

Its been there since 1962. So they have had time to get it Wright. Breakfast was what we expected 3 of us each had something different and enjoyed it. When ever in area we try to eat here.

Love this place. We were coming here once a week with our granddaughter, till the virus hit us all.They have great food.We miss this place a lot, so we are now ordering at least once a week and go get it. Food is to good to miss. Food is as good when you order out as if you were at the restaurant. They give you everything you need, the same as if you were there in the restaurant.

We've been coming here for years. The food is very good and consistent. They have a good selection of specials and they offer a senior menu for over 65. It's family owned. They also serve alcohol.

Excellent! Very good quality food and preparation of the meals here. The service is efficient and friendly. I love coming here because it's the perfect mix of old school diner with thoughtful updates to the space that it feels clean and comfortable. Everything here is an incredible value. It's a great place for families too - the kids menu with Mickey and silver dollar pancakes is awesome. The menu is quite good - they even have homemade Greek yogurt and homemade granola!
